Welcome to STISE!!

Advancing the state of systems thinking practice in software engineering

Our primary purpose is to communicate an awareness and understanding of why systems thinking is important to the software industry, and how this field of study can be used.

Our goals are to:

  1. Increase awareness of how systems thinking can be used in the software engineering field
  2. Demonstrate how systems thinking can be a valuable way of perceiving current situations, thinking about how systems work, and solving perplexing problems in software engineering
  3. Advance research in the application of systems thinking and disseminate results of software field studies
  4. Increase the use of systems thinking tools as a way to advance the state of software engineering practice

This site is available to all who are interested in being part of this experience. To help us better serve the software community, please register. It is free, quick, painless, AND you get a chance to win great prizes!

Are you interested in specific topics about systems thinking and learning organizations? Do have specific questions about how to apply systems thinking to your current situations? Email us your questions and we will add them to our FAQs!

Want to advertise your consulting and training services in systems thinking for software engineering? Do you have a product (e.g., software package, book, pamphlet, conference) you would like to market? Contact us!
